- Degree in Computer Science; currently studying towards a PhD
- Started Allstate as a Machine Learning Engineer
What do I do?
- Stay up to date with the latest advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Carry out research and use AI to find new innovative ways to solve problems
What is good about my job?
- Working with great people
- Learning about all the latest advancements in the Field of AI
What soft skills are important in my job?
- Reading & researching
- Good written communication skills
- Good verbal communication skills
My one piece of advice to school students:
Be open minded. There are many different paths you can take to get to where you want to be
What I wanted to be at age 11?
An Oceanographer, though that was a long time ago!
