• Changed career direction to study Software Development

What do I do?

• Assist with technical issues on apps used within Fujitsu
• Training in infrastructure security
• Training in up to date developments in tech and methodology

What is good about my job?

• Given independence and trusted to schedule my own work
• Great potential for training, upskilling and gaining certificates

What soft skills are important in my job?

• Communicating and collaborating
• Working independently and managing my time
• Problem solving

My one piece of advice to school students:

Ask for help if you need it, there is nothing wrong about not knowing something and people will respect your honesty.

What I wanted to be at age 11?

I had no idea, but as I went through school I focussed on IT and sciences as I really enjoyed those subjects.
