How did I get here?
- GCSEs + BTecs, A Levels
- Degree in Information Technology
- Started as a Graduate then was promoted to train as a Fullstack Developer
What do I do?
- Assist with development of new web / mobile applications
- Work with multiple teams on designing
- Implementing and testing front/back end of the website
What is good about my job?
- It’s a well-paid job with flexible working and a great work/life balance
- There are loads of jobs in this sector and I can move within the company if I want
- I learn something new each day working with people across the globe
What soft skills are important in my job?
- Teamworking
- Communication skills
- Problem solving
My one piece of advice to school students:
Work hard towards your dream, believe in yourself and keep your options open
