How did I get here?
- A levels
- Degree in Media Studies & Production
- Junior Production Coordinator
- Senior Production Coordinator
What do I do?
- Type and distribute daily filming schedules
- Manage finances, accounts, expenses, insurances and risk assessments
- Book hotels, taxis & flights and assist cast and crew
What is good about my job?
- Seeing what it takes to make a TV show from every aspect
- Working in a small team and getting to know everyone
What soft skills are important in my job?
- Working under pressure
- Communication skills
- Managing more than one project at a time
My one piece of advice to school students:
Don’t be afraid to take a chance on yourself. Look at every opportunity possible. If I had known there were internships, I don’t think I would’ve gone to Uni.
